Searching a VIN costs nothing. Before you pay you can see:
- Confirmation that the VIN exists on ServicePlan.one
- Vehicle basics: make, model, year, fuel, body type
- How many services are on record, and the date range they span
- The most recent confirmed service, in full
If a vehicle has nothing worth buying, you will know before you spend anything.
Included in the full report
- The complete service timeline — every record on the vehicle, newest first
- Workshop attribution — which verified workshop performed each confirmed service
- Confirmed vs. unconfirmed labelling on every single entry
- Parts and work performed, where the workshop recorded them
- Service photos attached by the workshop or owner
- Mileage history chart plotting every recorded odometer reading over time
- Rollback warnings where a later reading is lower than an earlier one
- Inactivity markers where the vehicle covered almost no distance over a long period
- Owner ratings and feedback left on confirmed services
- Ownership changes recorded on the vehicle
- A printable copy you can save as PDF
Not included
ServicePlan.one is a maintenance record, not a registry lookup. A report does not contain personal data about current or previous owners, insurance or accident-claim databases, finance or lien checks, or government registration status. Where those checks matter to you, run them separately.
Owners pay nothing
If you own the vehicle, your own service history is free — permanently. Sign in with your phone number to view the timeline, add your own maintenance records, and share a read-only link with a buyer.
No subscription
Buying a report does not sign you up for anything recurring.
No account needed
You can unlock a report directly from the buyer flow without creating a separate login.
Only pay when history exists
A VIN with no history on record costs nothing, and reopening a report you already unlocked is always free.
One vehicle
Access is granted per VIN. Checking a second vehicle is a separate report.
Kept current
While your access is valid, new services logged by workshops appear in the report automatically.
Yours to keep
Export the report to PDF so you still have it after your access period ends.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. ServicePlan.one never stores card details.
